Our Story
From Humble Beginnings… In June of 2008, Coastal Transportation & Storage LTD (CTS) was formed. After working for North Douglas & Sysco for almost 20 years Craig Skene decided to purchase the refrigerated side of Comox Moving & Storage. CTS was born from logo’s drawn at a kitchen table and started rolling with 5 trucks and 7 employees. At that time, they serviced Port Hardy, Powell River, & Quadra Island from a 5 000 square foot warehouse. Fast forward to 2025, CTS now has 45 employees and over 30 pieces of equipment (trucks & trailers). It now services all of Vancouver Island, the majority of the Gulf Islands and the Lower Mainland. It runs out of a 10 000 square foot warehouse which includes 5 000 square foot cooler, 3 000 square foot freezer, and a 2 500 square foot ambient tempered portion. We pride ourselves on getting there when others can’t!
